Add onion, garlic, carrot, celery and parsnip and let boil for about 8 minutes. Add parsley at the end. Put salt and pepper and add lemon juice.</p>

However, there is no doubt that having good core and back muscles will help prevent injuries.  Here are a couple of recommended exercises by professional trainers that you can do in the comforts of your own home that will help with back strengthening.</p>
<p><strong>Exercise: Bent over row</strong></p>
<p>Equipment: A packed travel suitcase</p>
<p>Steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>With a suitcase in front of you, stand with your legs slightly shoulder width apart.</li>
<li>Bend at the waist with your knees slightly bent but keep your back flat.</li>
<li>In this position, grab the suitcase with both hands and allow your arms dangle to the floor.  This is the start position.</li>
<li>Lift the suitcase to your chest and squeeze the shoulder blades when lifted at the highest at the point.</li>
<li>Return to the start position and repeat.</li>
</ol>
<p>This exercise is good for your trapezius muscle while working the latissimus dorsi and lower back as well.</p>
<p><strong>Exercise: Zercher Squat</strong></p>
<p>Equipment: A weighted bar</p>
<p>Steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>Place the bar across your arms and settle it in place by bending your arms so that it is in the crook of your elbows.</li>
<li>Stand with your feet shoulder width apart with knees slightly bent with your back straight.  This is your starting position.</li>
<li>Lower yourself by squatting down until your thighs are parallel to the floor.</li>
<li>Lift yourself back up to the starting position and repeat.</li>
</ol>
<p>This exercise works your lower back along with the hamstrings and quadriceps.</p>
<p>While there are items such as back braces and girdles to help support the back, these are just aids.  Nothing replaces exercising to strengthen your muscles to prevent injury.  These are some simple exercises to do with items you can find in your house easily so there are no excuses not to do them.</p>

The first exercise involves tilting your head till the neck is stretching throat muscles. Sleeping in this posture will be challenging at first but with time you get used to it.</p>

The next simple exercise involves pressing the palms of your hand against your forehead firmly.  At first do it gently then increase the intensity gradually in the next few seconds.  When you feel the pressure build on your neck muscles, release the pressure and relax for a minute then do this over again.</p>

<p>If you are ready to get started then let us talk about a good abs <a title="Use Music to Regulate Your Workout Routine" href="http://tweakfit.com/exercising/music-regulate-workout-routine/">workout routine</a>.  The most effective abs workout to get the six packs that so many people talk about and wish for is the age old bicycle exercise.  For this exercise, you lay flat on your back and with your hands place gently behind your head you bring your knees up as you bring your shoulder to your knee without pulling at your head and straining your neck.  You will be straightening your left leg while bringing your right shoulder to meet it at the same time, and then you will switch sides.</p>
<p>To add to your abs workout routine you should try using an exercise ball for your crunches.  This will help to strengthen and sculpt your rectus abdominals.  To keep the routine going and add another level of exercises for your abs your need to work your obliques.  Vertical leg crunches are great for you rectus abdominis and your oblique.  While lying on the floor, cross your ankles and while your legs are fully extended upwards with your knees crossed.  Lift your shoulders off the floor while contracting your abs and bringing your chest towards your feet.  Lower your legs and repeat 12-16 times.</p>
<p>While working your rectus abdominis, you also need to work those unsightly love handles, your obliques.  We all have them and wish them away regularly.  While the bicycle is a great exercise for those flabby love handles, Standing Trunk Twists are even better.  While standing with your feet about a foot apart, you twist your torso to the left and then to the right.  Do this for about 12-16 reps.</p>
