Also, a monthly gym membership plus workout equipment to be used at home can quickly add to how much stuff costs.
A treadmill is a fantastic way to get in shape from the comfort of your own home. But, brand new treadmills can be very expensive. You may have better luck finding used treadmills for a much cheaper price. There are many different places that you can look in order to find a cheap used treadmill for sale.
One of those place is to look in your local newspaper. In the classifieds section, people will sell their old stuff that they simply aren’t using any more. There should be a “Sporting Goods” section in the classifieds and you may be able to find a good used treadmill that you can buy.
Another great place to find used treadmills for sale is to look on Craigslist. Craigslist is an online version of a newspaper classifieds section. You can find it at Craigslist.org, and then you can filter it by your city. In the “For Sale” section, look under “Sporting” or just simply do a search for “treadmill” and you can probably find some a great used treadmill sale price. And, on Craigslist, sometimes people are willing to let you haggle with them for a cheaper price, but don’t be greedy, and realize that they are probably selling it for way less than they paid for it new.
Another great place to look is on eBay. Often times you can find people selling their treadmills on there. Be careful to look at shipping costs though, as a treadmill is an expensive item. Also, make sure that you look to see the seller’s transaction ratings for previous transactions. If there are a lot of people complaining that they never received an item, you should move onto another used treadmill auction, despite a price that may seem fantastic. You definitely don’t want to get scammed trying to buy used treadmills online.
Also, you can look into buying used commercial treadmills. A fitness center chain like Gold’s Gym or 24 Hour Fitness like to keep new equipment because it makes the users feel like they are being treated good, and so they continu8e to pay the monthly membership. Those places need to sell each and every used commercial treadmill they are replacing, and so you may be able to contact one of the companies to see what they do with them and where you can buy used treadmill from them.
