Forward Flies – You should extend your arm towards your side and making sure to keep them rightly aligned with your shoulders. The tops of your hands should be reaching towards the roof or the sky. By rotating your upper arms causing your palms to face forward, you will be able to create resistance with the water. Continue to move your arm to the center until one of your arms is parallel to the other. Then, just rotate your upper arms so that your palm once again faces outward. Then, move your arms to your side to once again align them with your shoulders.
Leg Lifts – Begin standing with your feet close to each other. Your arms should be resting on your waist keeping your arms bent at a perfect right angle (90 degrees). Then, just lift one of your legs out to the side keeping it comfortable still. Then, just hold it there and you should begin to feel your muscle burning. Then, just slowly lower it to the starting position, and do the same thing with the other leg.
Side Lateral Raise – Keep your arms at your side, with your palms facing towards your body. Then, just raise your arms to the side until they are aligned nicely with the shoulders. Then, point your palms in front of you, and move your arms to the front center of your body keeping your arms straight. You should end up clapping your palms together in front of your face with your elbows locked and your arms straight. Then, have the backs of your bands touching each other, and push your arms out the side again keeping them straight.
Try out these water aerobics exercises, and you can begin getting in shape and toned, and even losing weight, without having to worry about injuring yourself further.
