Weight Loss Stories

We all know that weight loss stories are used to sell diet and weight loss programs.  We’ve all seen the weight loss success stories on television, in magazines and over the internet that are used in conjunction with particular diets and weight loss products, so it’s easy to be skeptical.  Some of these stories seem too good to be true, especially some of the extreme weight loss stories.

While it is true that we don’t know which of these stories are true and which may be clever marketing ploys, weight loss sucess stories still can help us with our weight loss goals and even inspire our own weight loss story.  When you are trying to lose weight it can be very difficult to stay motivated when the pounds are not melting away as fast as you would like them to.  Reviewing others weight loss stories and pictures can be very helpful in staying inspired and motivated to be just as successful as the people you see in all of those weight loss stories before and after photographs.

There are places where you can find real weight loss stories that are not associated with selling any products.  There are weight loss forums, for example, where successful weight loss stories are told to help fellow members reach their own goals.

If you are looking to draw some inspiration from other peoples struggles and triumphs, try to find success weight loss stories that you can relate to.  For example, if you are on a low carb diet, you may want to find low carb weight loss success stories to read.  Find out what they did to be successful and see if you can duplicate their success.  As another example is weight loss success stories men find inspiring may not have as much appeal for women.  We are all different in who and what we relate to the best.

Weight loss stories can be true and they can be false.  They can be used as clever marketing ploys in conjunction with doctored photos, or they can be very genuine and real people faithfully telling their weight loss success story that can serve as an inspiration to all of us trying to lose weight.  The key with all of this is not to believe all the hype you read and see, but don’t be so cynical and jaded that you can’t draw some inspiration from other peoples’ success.
