Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill

Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmills are manufactured by Icon Health and Fitness and are among the most inexpensive treadmills on the market today, retailing for around $350-$400.  It is a very popular treadmill due to its inexpensive price.  However many Weslo Cadence C44 treadmill reviews give it poor marks due to its limited warranty, quality of construction and limited capabilities.

Here is our Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill Review

Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill WLTL29305

This inexpensive treadmill has speeds adjustable from 1-10 miles per hour, has a 2.25 THP horsepower motor, inclines of 3, 6 or 9 degrees, and a wide belt for long strides measuring 16″ x 47”.  It also features comfort cell cushioning and an EKG Heart Rate Monitor.  There is a one year warranty include with a Weslo Cadence C44 treadmill.

Pros

* This is an expensive machine with all the basic features that a beginning exerciser needs to get started on with a treadmill.

* The control panel is easy to read, use and figure out.  It is fairly obvious what all the buttons are for and what you need to do to set up your workouts.  You can also consult your Weslo Cadence C44 treadmill manual for further instructions.  There are display read outs for speed, speed of belt distance traveled, fat and calories burned, and time of session.

* Weslo Cadence C44 Folding Treadmill WLTL29305 folds up, making it one of the more popular features with consumers.  It takes about a 3′ x 3′ foot area to store this treadmill when folded.

* In its price range, it is the only treadmill with adjustable inclinations.

* The comfort cell cushioning on the treadmill lessens the impact on your joints compared to running on the road.

Cons

* The limit warranty.  Many other treadmill manufacturers now offer 5 year, 10 year and even lifetime warranties, whereas a Weslo Cadence C44 treadmill only offers a one year warranty.

* Small motor with limited capabilities compared to higher end treadmills.  It is questionable whether this treadmill can handle heavier persons over 250 pounds or hard core workouts.

* Some users have complained that the heart monitor does not accurately measure heart rate.

Bottom Line: If you are just starting out exercising, are on a limited budget, and don’t plan to do a lot of running or hard core workouts, a Weslo Cadence C44 treadmill may be sufficient for your needs.  However, if you have a larger budget you may want to look at higher quality treadmills.  You do get what you pay for.
